उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस की तर्ज पर अब दिल्ली पुलिस भी नागरिकता संशोधन क़ानून और एनआरसी के ख़िलाफ़ विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान हुई हिंसा, तोड़फोड़ और आगज़नी में सरकारी और निजी संपत्ति के नुकसान की भरपाई की कार्रवाई करने की तैयारी में है. इसके लिए नुकसान पहुंचाने वालों से ही भरपाई की योजना है. इस सिलसिले में एक क्लेम कमिश्नर की नियुक्ति के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस ने दिल्ली हाइकोर्ट को एक पत्र लिखा है.

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan's speech, in which he supported the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at the Indian History Congress at Kannur on Saturday, kicked up a massive row at the event, with several delegates launching a spontaneous protest. The delegates claimed Mr Khan was quoting iconic leaders out of context in what they called a political speech. "You have come with an agenda...you cannot shout me down," he shot back, accusing the protesters of intolerance. उत्तर भारत में ठंड बढ़ती जा रही है. पहाड़ी राज्यों की तुलना में इस बार दिल्ली में भी जबरदस्त ठंड पड़ रही है. दिल्ली में ठंड ने पिछले 118 साल का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है. दरअसल 118 साल में दिसंबर का यह महीना सबसे सर्द दिसंबर दर्ज किया गया है. वहीं, शनिवार को दिल्ली के तापमान में और भी गिरावट दर्ज की गई. मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, शनिवार सुबह तापमान 2.4 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया है. विभाग की मानें तो अगले कुछ दिनों में पारा इससे भी नीचे जा सकता है. यहां 31 दिसंबर से 2 जनवरी के बीच बारिश हो सकती है.

उत्तर भारत में ठंड बढ़ती जा रही है. पहाड़ी राज्यों की तुलना में इस बार दिल्ली में भी जबरदस्त ठंड पड़ रही है. दिल्ली में ठंड ने पिछले 118 साल का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है. दरअसल 118 साल में दिसंबर का यह महीना सबसे सर्द दिसंबर दर्ज किया गया है. वहीं, शनिवार को दिल्ली के तापमान में और भी गिरावट दर्ज की गई. मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, शनिवार सुबह तापमान 2.4 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया है. विभाग की मानें तो अगले कुछ दिनों में पारा इससे भी नीचे जा सकता है. यहां 31 दिसंबर से 2 जनवरी के बीच बारिश हो सकती है.

उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में शुक्रवार को इंटरनेट पर रोक लगाई गई है. नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के विरोध में बीते शुक्रवार हुए हिंसक प्रदर्शनों को देखते हुए यह फैसला लिया गया है. जिन जगहों पर इंटरनेट पर रोक लगाई गई है उनमें- गाजियाबाद, बिजनौर, मेरठ, फिरोजाबाद, संभल, अलीगढ़, आगरा, सीतापुर, रामपुर, बुलंदशहर और कानपुर हैं. सभी संवेदनशील जगहों पर गुरुवार को प्रशासन ने फोर्स के साथ फ्लैग मार्च निकाला.

आज यानी 26 दिसंबर, 2019 को साल का आखिरी सूर्य ग्रहण है, जो वलयाकार सूर्य ग्रहण होगा अर्थात पूर्णग्रास नहीं बल्कि खंडग्रास सूर्य ग्रहण होगा. इससे पहले इस साल छह जनवरी और दो जुलाई को आंशिक सूर्यग्रहण लगा था. वलयाकार सूर्य ग्रहण को देश के दक्षिणी भाग में कर्नाटक, केरल और तमिलनाडु के हिस्सों देखा जा सकेगा जबकि देश के अन्य हिस्सों में यह आंशिक सूर्य ग्रहण के रूप में दिखाई देगा. भारतीय मानक समय अनुसार आंशिक सूर्यग्रहण सुबह आठ बजे आरंभ होगा जबकि वलयाकार सूर्यग्रहण की अवस्था सुबह 9.06 बजे शुरू होगी. सूर्य ग्रहण की वलयाकार अवस्था दोपहर 12 बजकर 29 मिनट पर समाप्त होगी जबकि ग्रहण की आंशिक अवस्था दोपहर एक बजकर 36 मिनटर पर समाप्त होगी.

बीते दिनों नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के विरोध में देशभर में हिंसक प्रदर्शनों की खबरें सुर्खियां बनी हुई थीं. उत्तर प्रदेश के कई शहरों में भी खूब बवाल हुआ और प्रदर्शनकारियों ने करोड़ों रुपयों की सार्वजनिक संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाया. यूपी पुलिस अब सभी अराजक तत्वों की पहचान कर रही है ताकि संपत्ति को हुए नुकसान की भरपाई उन्हीं से करवाई जाए. इस संबंध में कई जिलों में पुलिस ने प्रदर्शनकारियों की शिनाख्त कर उनको नोटिस भेजे हैं. दूसरी ओर मेरठ पुलिस ने प्रदर्शन के दौरान पुलिस पर फायरिंग करने वाले लोगों की तस्वीरें और वीडियो जारी किए हैं.

महाराष्ट्र की राजधानी और देश के आर्थिक केंद्र मुंबई में ठगी का एक दिलचस्प मामला सामने आया है. ठगों ने राइस पुलर (चावल खींचने वाला) 'जादुई लोटे' के चमत्कार के नाम पर एक कारोबारी से 1.5 करोड़ रुपये ठग लिए. मुंबई पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच ने ठगी के इस अनोखे मामले का भंडाफोड़ करते हुए तीनों ठगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. इन ठगों ने एक करोबारी को इस बात का झांसा दिया था कि 'जादुई लोटे' से चावल को एक मीटर तक खींचने पर 500 करोड़ और दो मीटर तक खींचने पर 1000 करोड़ रुपये मिलेंगे.

कश्मीर से अर्धसैनिक बल के 7000 हजार जवान वापस बुलाए गए
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने सुरक्षा को लेकर समीक्षा के बाद कश्मीर से 7,000 से अधिक अर्द्धसैन्य जवानों की तुरंत वापसी का आदेश दिया है। अधिकारियों ने मंगलवार को इस बारे में जानकारी दी. उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों (सीएपीएफ) की कुल 72 कंपनियों को देश भर में अपने स्थानों पर ‘लौटने’ को कहा गया है. इस तरह की एक कंपनी में करीब 100 कर्मी होते हैं. सीआरपीएफ, बीएसएफ, आईटीबीपी, सीआईएसएफ और एसएसबी से ली गयी इन टुकड़ियों को जम्मू कश्मीर का विशेष दर्जा खत्म किए जाने के बाद कश्मीर घाटी भेजा गया था.

दिल्ली में एक बार फिर से फैक्ट्री में आग लगने की खबर आई है. दिल्ली के नरेला इंडस्ट्रीयल इलाके में दो फैक्टरियों में आज सुबह आग लग गई. एक फैक्ट्री में आग पर काबू लगभग पा लिया गया है, मगर दूसरी फैक्ट्री में अब भी आग बुझाने का काम जारी है. आग पर काबू पाने के लिए दमकल की 20 गाड़ियां मौके पर मौजूद हैं. आग बुझाने में तीन दमकल कर्मी भी घायल हो गए हैं.

Jharkhand Results 2019: झारखंड में किसके सिर सजेगा ताज, फैसला कुछ देर में
झारखंड में मतगणना जारी है. इस दौरान चुनाव आयोग की साइट के अनुसार बीजेपी जहां 30 सीटों पर बढ़त बनाए हुए है, वहीं कांग्रेस-जेएमएम गठबंधन 34 सीटों पर आगे बना हुआ है. इसके साथ ही दोनों पक्षों में वोट प्रतिशत को लेकर भी काफी फैसला बढ़ गया है. बीजेपी को जहां 31 प्रतिशत वोट मिल रहा है वहीं कांग्रेस-जेएमएम गठबंधन को 40 प्रतिशत वोट मिल रहे हैं. देखें वीडियो

दिल्ली के किराड़ी नगर में लगी आग में 9 लोग मारे गए, 10 घायल
राजधानी दिल्ली में एक बार फिर आग लगने का मामला सामने आया है. दिल्ली के किराड़ी इलाके में रविवार देर रात कपड़ों के एक गोदाम में आग लग गई. हादसे में 9 लोगों की मौत हो गई और कई लोग बुरी तरह झुलस गए. आग बिल्डिंग में फैलती गई और इसकी वजह से एक सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट हो गया. ब्लास्ट की वजह से दीवार का एक हिस्सा भी गिर गया. तीन लोगों की मौत दीवार गिरने से हुई है. दमकलकर्मियों ने मौके पर पहुंच 10 लोगों को बचाया.
