'चौकीदार चोर है' पर राहुल गांधी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से माफी मांगी
कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने 'चौकीदार चोर है' टिप्पणी को गलत तरीके से सर्वोच्च न्यायालय से जोड़ने के लिए मंगलवार को शीर्ष अदालत से माफी मांग ली. राहुल गांधी के वकील अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने गांधी की तरफ से माफी मांगी. इसके एक दिन पहले कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने इस मुद्दे पर सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के नोटिस पर एक जवाब दाखिल किया था, जिसमें उन्होंने टिप्पणी के लिए खेद प्रकट किया था.

In a major setback for Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi, the Madras High Court has said the Lieutenant Governor has no powers to interfere or act independently. Allowing a request by Congress legislator K Lakshminarayanan, the Madurai bench of the high court ruled that the elected government has powers over service matters and cancelled two clarification orders by the centre in 2017 on the powers of the Lieutenant Governor.

लोकसभा चुनाव के चौथे चरण का मतदान आज हो रहा है. इस दौरान मुंबई में कई बॉलीवुड सेलेब्स ने अपने मतदान का इस्तेमाल किया. वोट डालने के लिए शाहरुख खान अपनी पत्नी गौरी खान के साथ पहुंचे. साथ में उनके बेटे अबराम भी दिखाई दिए. उनके अलावा सलमान खान, अमिताभ बच्चन, करीना कपूर, रणबीर कपूर, ऋतिक रोशन, विवेक ओबेरॉय अपने पिता सुरेश ओबेरॉय के साथ, कंगना रनौत, इमरान हाशमी, वरुण धवन, अजय देवगन समेत तमाम सेलिब्रिटी ने मतदान किया.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 के मद्देनजर सोमवार को चौथे चरण का मतदान हुआ. इसी कड़ी में महाराष्ट्र की 17 लोकसभा सीटों पर भी मतदान हुए. बॉलीवुड सितारों में भी मतदान को लेकर खूब उत्साह दिखा. अक्षय कुमार, आलिया भट्ट, जैकलीन फर्नांडिस, कैटरीना कैफ और इमरान खान जैसे सितारों ने वोट नहीं डाला. दरअसल, इन सितारों के पास दूसरे देशों की नागरिकता होने के कारण भारत में वोट करने का अधिकार नहीं है.
