For the first time since the lockdown, multiplexes have been permitted to open with 50 per cent seating. Schools and colleges, shut since March as lockdown was announced across the country, will be allowed to re-open from October 15, the Centre said on Wednesday while announcing the next phase of lifting of coronavirus-related restrictions. The final call, however, has been left to the states and the institutions involved. All international flights will remain suspended until October 31.

Unlock 5 के अंतर्गत, 1 अक्टूबर से 50 फीसदी क्षमता के साथ सिनेमाघर, थियेटर और मल्टीप्लेक्स को खोलने की इजाजत दे दी गई है. इसके साथ ही बिजनेस-टू-बिजनेस एक्जिबिशन को भी गृह मंत्रालय के दिशा-निर्देशों के साथ परमिट दे दिया गया है. वहीं, यूथ अफेयर्स एंड स्पोर्ट्स मिनिस्ट्री द्वारा अनुमति के बाद स्पोर्ट्सपर्सन के लिए स्विमिंग पूल खोला जा सकता है. हालांकि, आम लोगों के लिए अभी स्विमिंग पूल बंद रखा गया है.

"3-Member Probe Panel Set Up": Yogi Adityanath On Hathras Gang-Rape, Death
A three-member panel has been set up to investigate the gang-rape and torture of a 20-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today amid nationwide outrage over the incident. The verdict in the 28-year-old case involving the demolition of Babri Masjid, which stood at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya, will be pronounced today by a special court in Lucknow. The 1992 demolition -- preceded by a series of rath yatras by the BJP's LK Advani -- had cost around 3,000 lives and changed the country's political landscape. The accused in the case include senior leaders of the ruling BJP - the party's founder-members Mr Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, former ministers Uma Bharti and Kalyan Singh. But none of the four high-profile accused will be present in court. Mr Advani, 92, and Mr Joshi, 86, are exempted from attending on health grounds. Uma Bharti has contracted coronavirus and Kalyan Singh is recuperating from it.

सुशांत सिंह राजपूत मौत मामले में एम्स के मेडिकल पैनल (AIIMS Medical Penal) ने अपनी रिपोर्ट सीबीआई को सौंप दी है, सूत्रों ने एनडीटीवी को ये जानकारी दी है. डॉ सुधीर गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता वाले पैनल का गठन केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो के अनुरोध पर किया गया था ताकि पोस्टमार्टम और विसरा रिपोर्ट का अध्ययन किया जा सके. सूत्रों ने एनडीटीवी को बताया, "आज एक विस्तृत बैठक हुई, जिसके दौरान एम्स के डॉक्टरों के पैनल ने सीबीआई को अपने निर्णायक निष्कर्ष सौंपे." सूत्रों ने कहा है कि एम्स पैनल के निष्कर्षों को इस मामले में एक विशेषज्ञ की राय के रूप में लिया जाएगा और डॉक्टर अभियोजन पक्ष के गवाह होंगे.

2 Dead In Protest Over Jobs For Government Teachers In Rajasthan
Two people were killed and another two injured in Rajasthan's Dungarpur after four days of violent protests by members of tribal communities over the recruitment of government school teachers. The violence started Thursday after candidates of a 2018 qualifying exam blocked the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway, threw stones at the police and torched their vehicles. The protesters also damaged several buildings. The police said the violence forced them to open fire.

Author Sudheendra Kulkarni extended his condolences on former Union Minister Jaswant Singh's death and said he was deeply saddened. Calling Mr Singh "a tall leader, a scholar and a soldier", Mr Kulkarni said he was one of the most trusted colleagues of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani. He also said Jaswant Singh was instrumental in forming the NDA where he assisted AB Vajpayee and Mr Advani. Sudheendra Kulkarni also said Jaswant Singh was deeply saddened by the demolition of the Babri Masjid after which he initiated dialogue with Muslim leaders. Former union minister Jaswant Singh died this morning in Delhi. He was 82. Jaswant Singh, who was from Rajasthan, had served as India's foreign minister, defense minister and finance minister. He was an officer in the India Army in the 1950s and 60s, but he later resigned to pursue a career in politics. He died today at 6:55 AM at Delhi's Army Hospital (Research & Referral) where he was admitted in June. "It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of Honourable Major Jaswant Singh (Retired), former Cabinet Minister of government of India at 0655 hours on 27 September 2020. बिहार में इस साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव की तारीखों का आज ऐलान हो जाएगा. चुनाव आयोग दोपहर 12:30 बजे चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान करेगा. देश में कोरोनावायरस महामारी के दौर में यह पहला बड़ा चुनाव होगा. महामारी की वजह से कई विपक्षी पार्टियां चुनाव टालने की बात कह रही थीं. बिहार में नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व वाली NDA सरकार की सहयोगी पार्टी ने जुलाई में चुनाव आयोग को चिट्ठी लिखकर चुनाव टालने का आग्रह किया था. पार्टी ने कहा था कि कोविड-19 के संक्रमण के डर के दौरान इतने बड़े पैमाने पर चुनाव कराना खतरनाक हो सकता है.

कृषि बिल के खिलाफ आज कई किसान संगठनों ने 'भारत बंद' बुलाया है. कई ट्रेड यूनियनों ने भी भारत बंद का समर्थन किया है. भारतीय किसान यूनियन के अध्यक्ष राकेश टिकैत ने कहा है कि कृषि बिल के खिलाफ 100 से ज्यादा किसान संगठन विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं. साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि जिले, गांव और हाईवे पर चक्काजाम किया जाएगा. संगठनों ने स्थानीय दुकानदारों से बंद को सफल बनाने की अपील की है.

Several parts of Mumbai received heavy rainfall on Tuesday night leading to waterlogging in some areas including Sion and Goregaon. Passengers were stranded at Sion railway station in Mumbai due to waterlogging. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), suburban Mumbai witnessed actual rainfall of 23.4 mm on Tuesday, a departure of 129 per cent from the normal rainfall.

मंगलवार देर रात मुंबई के कई हिस्सों में भारी बारिश के बाद लोगों का जीवन अस्त व्यस्त हो गया है, सड़कों पर जगह जगह पानी भर गया है. सयान और गोरेगांव में खासे जल जमाव की स्थिति पैदा हो गई है. सयान रेलवे स्टेशन पर कुछ यात्री जलजमाव के कारण फंस गए थे. भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) के अनुसार, उपनगरीय मुंबई में मंगलवार को 23.4 मिमी की बारिश देखी गई, जोकि सामान्य से 129 फीसदी ज्यादा है. मौसम विभाग ने आज भी मुंबई में भारी बारिश का अनुमान जताया है.
